Burlington Gate is a new residential development in Mayfair, London W1.
Native Land, in joint venture with Hotel Properties Limited (HPL) and Amcorp Properties Berhad (Amcorp), acquired the site in November 2012.
The joint venture between Native Land and the architect, Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, have redevelopped the existing 83,000 sq ft building into 42 luxury apartments with world class amenities, together with a significantly improved art gallery space and restaurant on the ground floor.
There will be a new arcade at street level. This will create a pedestrian link between Old Burlington Street and Cork Street.
MSMR will provide internal space planning and interior design services for the residential component.

The Requirement:
The PV requirements were stipulated by the consultants Waterman Building Services Ltd to comply with the London Carbon plan to achieve a 35% reduction of emissions against Part L 2013.
The Solution:
With our strong history of commercial design and build solar PV solutions in the centre of London, Myriad Solar was appointed by ESG, the M&E contractor, to deliver the solar PV system and meet the Part L renewable energy target.
The solar PV solution designed by MyriadSolar consists 42 20% efficient Sunpower panels mounted on a ballasted system on the roof. The installation provides 12,200-kilowatt hours of renewable power to the building per year. The cost savings on utilities are in excess of £1,500 per year.
