Sector: Scientific / R&D – Diamond Verification

De Beers Technologies UK Ltd, based in Maidenhead, manufactures automated systems for diamond verification, sorting, and detection equipment. As part of its sustainability strategy, the site underwent a full roof replacement and installation of a solar PV system to utilise the 2,500 m² roof space. The 100 kWp system is south-facing and mounted on rubber-footed panels, protecting the new roof while maximising solar yield. The installation supports the company’s journey towards carbon neutrality by 2030, delivering significant energy cost savings and reducing the site’s carbon footprint.

Client Testimonial

“We take sustainability and our carbon footprint very seriously in all our operations. Solar installations are central to our thinking, which guided our decision to upgrade our Maidenhead site.”
